Sir Henry
Today we got another great story from a Fipsie, which was looked after by Dagmar, Majo and me. We don't think we should withhold history from you. There are stories that encourage and they show that Fip has not been a death sentence for a long time.
Our thanks also go to Dagmar Thron for giving us her trust.
Die Geschichte von Sir Henry
Sir Henry came to me in the beginning of December. He was very emaciated and I heard from some neighbors that he had probably been roaming the neighborhood for a few weeks. I fed him outside in my yard the first 2 days and got him inside the third day. He got along great with the other cats from the start.
Early January he had a very cold and snot was running down his nose. He enjoyed a few minutes sometimes. He was then treated with antibiotics. Unfortunately it didn't get any better and he barely ate. I then started syringe feeding him.
On 10.01.2023 I then took him to my vet and he was hospitalized at the vet. The blood test then came back that he had FIP.
One of my vet assistant, who has experience with FIP 'cats', then suggested a treatment with BLISS. Sir Henry was then hospitalized at the vet for 4 weeks, had to be fed and injected the BLISS serum. He only weighed 10 stone
Then I brought him home after 4 weeks. He ate on his own again and also gained 400 grams of weight.
Since he didn't like the shots at all, I switched to BLISS pills. He was getting better and better every day and his weight has ditched in to 4.2kgs.
Blood checks done every 4 weeks and the numbers kept getting better. After 127 days of therapy, the grades were so good that the therapy could be completed with BLISS.
Sir Henry is well and in good spirits!
